THE ART OF THE CRAFT
At Figaret, expertise is not something that can be improvised. It has been cultivated every day for almost sixty years, with our historical partners, through the rigor of each individual, a shared curiosity and a taste for a job well done.
Mastering knowledge, refining skills, and paying genuine attention to detail: this collective commitment is what drives our progress. Sharing knowledge, learning, and growing together are at the heart of how we work.
We take the time to keep things simple. The shirt, a garment with countless subtleties, reveals itself in the finishes, the number of stitches per centimeter, the use of double-twisted yarns and high-end fabrics — Albini, Thomas Mason or Monti — as well as in the perfectly tailored cut.
Figaret's legitimacy and expertise lie in this precise and rigorous knowledge of clothing.

Key steps
Since 1968, Figaret has embodied an uncompromising standard and a deep appreciation for detail.
Designed to last, our shirts embody a unique expertise, specific to our House and our long-standing partners.
Cutting, heat-sealing, assembly, ironing... These are all important manufacturing steps that make a difference. Here are a few key steps, those we carefully cultivate and that help ensure our shirts stand the test of time.
-
Heat sealing
The collars and cuffs of our shirts combine three heat-bonded layers of varying stiffness for optimal support. An additional internal seam reinforces the structure, ensuring a stylish and long-lasting drape.
-
Whales
Invisible and non-removable, these small structural elements are assembled with the heat-sealable adhesives, guaranteeing a perfect and durable hold of the collar points.
-
The seams
Our shirts are made using English seams, a technique renowned for its strength and precision. With 6.5 to 7.5 stitches per centimeter, each seam ensures a flawless finish.
-
The schoolboy
Our buttons on the collar and cuffs are hand-sewn using the "Ascolite" stitch, which is both invisible and exceptionally strong. This artisanal technique ensures the strength and durability of each shirt.
FIGARET'S EXPERTISE
Signature details
Since 1968, Figaret has cultivated the art of cutting and detail.
Balanced lines, precise drape, impeccable finishes: every artisanal gesture serves a natural elegance.
Among the details that matter, here are a few that distinguish our shirts and create a timeless look.
-
The claw
Precisely stitched inside each shirt, the Figaret label signifies its authenticity and commitment to quality. It may be accompanied by markings indicating the type of fabric or thread: "Double twisted," "Japanese fabric," as well as the names of our prestigious partners (Albini, Thomas Mason, Canclini).
-
The monogram
Placed on a triangular pointed tab sewn at the elbow, the "Double F" monogram embroidery, tone-on-tone or coloured, adds a personal and discreet touch to the shirt.
-
The stripes
The matching stripes are the result of precise craftsmanship: on a needle table, each piece of striped fabric is adjusted millimeter by millimeter to create perfect continuity and achieve an impeccable finish.
-
The swallows
Small reinforcements sewn at the corners of the side seams, called "swallows," prevent tearing and strengthen the shirt. At Figaret, we choose a more elegant triangular shape for a refined finish and greater durability.
-

BEAUTIFUL FABRICS
At Figaret, nothing is left to chance.
The majority of our shirts are made with double twisted yarn: a softer, stronger and denser yarn, guaranteeing a high-quality fabric.
We select our fabrics from prestigious Italian houses, such as Albini, Thomas Mason, Monti, to offer ever more exceptional materials.
