COLLECTION
It has been said that "L'amour est à réinventer" ("Love is to be reinvented").
It was in the autumn of 1873 that young Arthur Rimbaud published this line in a collection of poems entitled "Une saison en Enfer" ("A Season in Hell").
This fall, French publishing house Gallimard and Figaret Paris celebrate together the 150th anniversary of Rimbaud's collection. This collaboration pays tribute to poetry and freedom through a capsule collection just as lyrical: two shirt designs inspired by Arthur Rimbaud, as an invitation to reinvent one’s self.
ANNIVERSARY EDITION
Each shirt of this capsule collection will be accompanied by the anniversary edition of Arthur Rimbaud's collection, published by Poésie Gallimard, with a preface by Yannick Haenel and supported by Figaret Paris.
UNISEX SHIRT
ARTHUR RIMBAUD
The Arthur Rimbaud shirt, with its popover-style silhouette, is made with the modern poet in mind. On its cotton and linen canvas, Rimbaud's verse is delicately embroidered, revealing the words: « L’amour est à réinventer » (Love is to be reinvented).
This creation will be available in a numbered edition of 150 pieces.

L'amour est à réinventer
Timeless and elegant, the second shirt of this collection embraces Figaret's classic lines and asserts, through its embroidery, that « L’amour est à réinventer » (Love is to be reinvented). As for our iconic « Je t'aime » shirt collection, the message is subtly embroidered on the back of the button placket of a unisex white poplin shirt.
